About

Live, Love, Laugh, Listen and Learn!
My love of art started with my mom buying me the paint by numbers and from there to elementary school where I entered an art school contest and won a one year private art classes.
I have never taken art school classes but have had to learn what I know today from other artists and books.
Gail Butler spent many hours teaching me how to get the most of what I wanted to see on my canvases. I still spend time with Gail and fellow artists and still take her suggestions!
I don’t manipulate my environment in words, but rather in the form that it becomes on the canvas. I want to go beyond what is actual or mundane and touch the edges of the fantasy while still in the real world.
There is always a sense of satisfaction in seeing what’s in my imagination come to life. I want to find something that would give me a sincere feeling of great worth. I love to see my creations take shape and have a life force of its own. I admire artists who are able to capture the true realism and the quality, but can still give a whimsical feel. They create power in the scene which makes you feel the energy and a sense of creation.
Then listen to the viewers see the story evolve and sometimes tell their own tale. I love to see the same awe on other faces when they see my images.
